THE LITDESK PLATFORM

One workspace for the work behind every matter.

LitDesk brings case records, documents, hearings, team responsibilities, client finance, and reporting into one organisation workspace. Give your team a connected way to manage the practice while keeping external access under control.

For individual advocates, law firms, and enterprise legal teams.

The essential parts of your practice, working together.

Keep the record, the next action, and the responsible person connected. LitDesk supports the operational work around a matter without making staff switch between separate case workspaces.

Matters, contacts & conflicts

Organise matters by category, court type, priority, tags, and assigned team. Maintain accounts and contacts, with conflict checks as part of intake.

Documents & case history

Keep private files, preserved document versions, comments, notes, checklists, verdicts, and audit history alongside the relevant matter.

Hearings, tasks & deadlines

Coordinate hearing dates, calendar events, preparation tasks, and legal deadlines. Make responsibilities and follow-up work clear.

Permissions & approvals

Define who can access information and who reviews the work. Support approval steps, separation of duties, notifications, and escalations.

Client finance

Manage invoices, recorded payments, expenses, reimbursements, and financial statements. Keep client financial records distinct from your LitDesk subscription.

IPR & practice reporting

Organise intellectual property portfolios and obligations. Review activity through dashboards, reports, exports, and scheduled report delivery.

From intake to closure, keep the context.

  1. Establish the record

Capture the matter, relevant contacts, initial documents, conflict checks, and responsible team.

  2. Coordinate the work

Connect preparation tasks, hearings, deadlines, document reviews, and approval responsibilities.

  3. Review and communicate

Keep notes, financial records, and reports organised. Publish selected updates to authorised parties when appropriate.

  4. Manage the transition

Handle reassignment, organisation transfer, external handoff, closure, and reopening through defined processes.

A shared workspace for staff. Selected information for parties.

Your staff work across matters within an organisation workspace. Clients and other authorised parties use LitDesk Connect to access the case information your team explicitly publishes.

Inside the organisation

Coordinate matter records, working documents, internal notes, tasks, and approvals according to assigned permissions.

Through LitDesk Connect

Share selected updates and documents, show permitted dates, and receive files for staff review. Parties do not consume staff seats.

Completed closure, transfer, or external handoff ends ordinary party access. Reopening a matter does not automatically restore previous access grants.

Bring court information into a reviewed record.

The eCourtsIndia integration supports reviewed imports of case and order information, with explicit credits and spending limits. Keep imported information within your records while maintaining visibility over usage.

Availability and supported information depend on the configured integration.

Understanding the platform.

Do staff need a separate workspace for each case?

No. Staff use a unified organisation workspace and work across matters within it. Case-specific external access is provided separately through LitDesk Connect.

Can we control what clients and other parties see?

Yes. Parties see explicitly published updates and documents, together with permitted dates. Files they submit go through staff review.

Are client invoices the same as LitDesk subscription invoices?

No. Client finance concerns the practice’s invoices, payments, and expenses. Subscription billing concerns the organisation’s payments for LitDesk.

Does the platform include AI document analysis?

AI document analysis and case-based AI assistance are planned for v1.5. They are not active MVP features.
